Where do our garments come from?
Right from the beginning, we wanted to make Ruler of London as sustainable as possible. There's no denying it: it is a bit cheaper to manufacture garments halfway around the world. But there's something more satisfying about your clothes being sewn nearer to home. And it helps when there's a ship stuck in the Suez canal.
All our garments start life as an idea. From our headquarters, on the Isle of Dogs in London, the initial draft crosses the river Thames to our pattern-cutter in Deptford. She completes the designs, which are then sent to our world-class factories in Leicester and Portugal. The clothes return to the Isle of Dogs, where we pack them up and send them to you.
For us, it makes sense to manufacture our garments with factories we can trust. London has always been the world capital of men's fashion, and we're proud to add another chapter to that history.
